2 tablespoons butter
4 tart apples, unpeeled, cored, and diced
2 medium onions, diced
2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons sugar or brown sugar
1/4 cup dry white wine
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add apples and onions, and cook until soft. Mix in the sweet potatoes, sprinkle with sugar, and add wine. Stir gently until blended.
