I agree....prunes???
Somehow the prunes turned me off ...... I might try it without them though.....
Actually, the prunes make sense since the recipe calls for both ginger and cloves. I've tried this recipe, and the prunes add something quite good to the overall effect. Try it; you won't be disappointed.
