Carolina Shrimp Butter


1 pound cream cheese, softened
2 ounces butter, softened
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juke
1/4 teaspoon mace
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon cayenne (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 pound shrimp, cooked and minced


Beat all ingredients with electric mixer until well blended. For best flavor, store overnight or for several hours in refrigerator.
