Cheesy Potato Soup
Ingredients
6 to 7 medium potatos quartered salt and pepper to taste
1 medium onion
1/2 to 3/4 cup butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 cup milk
1 8oz package of finely shredded cheese of your choice
Instructions
Cook potatoes and onion in enough water to cover on medium heat until tender. Add milk and cubes of cream cheese. Remove from heat. Stir untill cream cheese is melted. add soups,butter, and spices. place back on heat until desired temperature. just before serving stir in shredded cheese to taste
Yield:
6 to 8 cups
