Chicken Roll


2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons shortening
3/4 cup milk
2 cups diced, creamed chicken


Make biscuit dough and roll it out to ¼ inch thickness. Spread with chicken and roll as a jelly roll. Bake in a hot oven for about 25 minutes. Serve with chicken gravy and currant or cranberry jelly.
