Citrus-Dressed Summer Veggies


1 pound vegetables, such as asparagus, zucchini strips, carrots, yellow squash
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons orange juice
cayenne pepper, to taste
salt and pepper, to taste


Trim and wash vegetables. Steam until just tender, for about 7 minutes; drain. Whisk together other ingredients and pour over vegetables. Let cool, and serve warm or cold. Great for summer picnics.


Makes 4 servings.
