Cole Slaw Dressing


2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1-1/4 tablespoons flour
1 egg, beaten
5 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 cup sweet whole milk
1 tablespoon butter


Stir together in the order given. Add the milk last. Cook in a double boiler until thick, and then put in the butter and stir well. If too thick, dilute with light cream before using.
