Custard Pie


4 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked


Beat eggs slightly. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes, then at 300 degrees F for 30 minutes.


Serves 8.
