Diane's Hunter's Chicken


4 pounds chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch-size pieces
1/3 cup virgin olive oil
2 onions, sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, minced
3 whole cloves


Place the chicken pieces, in batches, into a plastic bag with a couple of tablespoons of sifted flour. Shake to cover the pieces with flour. Pour virgin olive oil into a frying pan and saute the chicken until golden brown. In a separate frying pan, fry onions in butter with garlic, and cloves. When the chicken and the onions are ready, add the contents of both frying pans to a slow cooker. Then add the following:
