French Breakfast Puffs

Ingredients

2/3 cup soft margarine
1 egg
1 cup sugar
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine into pasty substance margarine, egg, and sugar. In a separate bowl, blend flour, salt, nutmeg, and baking powder. By hand blend dry ingredients into wet ingredients until well mixed, adding milk by thirds. Spoon batter into greased muffin tins. Bake 15 minutes.
