Homemade Sausage

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground pork
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together well. Shape into patties and fry; drain well.

The sausage may be batched and frozen.

Yield: 

8 to 10 patties
