1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 small cans tomato paste
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 cup dry wine
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon basil
2-pound can tomatoes
lasagna noodles
1 package mozzarella
1 large container cottage cheese (about 3 cups)
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
2 eggs, beated
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese


Saute meat with tomato paste, garlic, wine, salt, basil and tomatoes for 1 hour. Cook lasagne noodles about 15 minutes in boiling salt water, drain and rinse.

Mix remaining ingredients together. Alternate layers in 10x13-inch Pyrex dish starting with sauce and ending with mozzerella.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
