LIME-SESAME SEED SALAD DRESSING
“This is one of our most popular dressings at the inn. It requires little preparation time and keeps well when refrigerated.” –Mountain Top Inn, Chittenden, Vermont
Ingredients
2 tablespoons whole sesame seeds
2 to 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 cup salad oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
Spread sesame seeds on a baking pan and place in a 300 degrees F oven. Bake until lightly toasted (about 8 minutes). Combine with rest of ingredients and blend together with an electric mixer or blender.
Yield:
Makes about 1-1/2 cups
