Lovage Soup

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
2 onions, peeled and sliced
3 tablespoons chopped lovage
1 tablespoon flour
3 cups chicken stock
1 cup milk or cream

Instructions

Melt butter in saucepan. Saute onions and lovage until tender. Sprinkle with flour and stir over low heat until blended. Slowly add stock and milk and stir until smooth. Simmer 5 minutes. Press through food mill and reheat. (Also good cold.)
