Maple Butter

This flavored butter is a nice way to say, “I am glad I know you.” Pack it in a fancy little jar and a a tag with the recipe. Don’t be tempted to use a substitute for the butter or the maple syrup.


1/2 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon brandy


Whip the butter, maple syrup, and brandy together. Pack into a crock, if desired, and store in the refrigerator. Serve on sweet potatoes, winter squash, or hot muffins.
