This sauce is very good served on chocolate or coffee ice cream or on chocolate cake or gingerbread.
2-1/2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1 small can (3/4 cup) evaporated milk
about 3/4 jar or marshmallow fluff
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine all of the ingredients except the vanilla and stir over a low flame until blended. Remove from the flame and add the vanilla.
