2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1-1/2 cups peanut butter (crunchy)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon syrup (any kind)
1 small bag of M&M-type candies
4-1/2 cups oatmeal (quick oats)
Mix in order given. Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheets. Flatten. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees F.
This recipe contains no flour and freezes well. You can substitute creamy peanut butter for crunchy.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
