MUSSELS WITH WINE SAUCE
Ingredients
1 Dozen mussels
1/4 c melted butter
1 1/2 tbsp flour
2 minced garlic cloves
1/2 c clam juice
1/4 c white wine
1/2 tsp basil
Instructions
With moderate heat, combine all and stir a few minutes until smooth consistency.
Add mussels and steam until shells are open, discard any shells not open.
Alternative option You may wish to steam the mussels separately and add the sauce with each serving.
