Personally, I like onions on

Personally, I like onions on most sandwiches, these ingredients sound like what's in potato salad...LOL This is one of my favorite sandwiches: Sliced onion, sliced cheddar, sliced Granny Smith apple, with mayo on pumpernickel...yummo!

I go along with Charlie why

I go along with Charlie why mess with the great flavor of a good onion. I also agree with JCD more onion if you please.

My onion sandwiches is a bit

My onion sandwiches is a bit simpler:

Thin slices of onion on bread well lathered with BUTTER, and sprinkle of pepper and salt. Sit back on the front porch and enjoy,

I always keep the onions

I always keep the onions sliced whole, used mayo, mustard and lettuce or apple slices with majority of the vegetable matter being onion slices, not in a spread, but the egg would be a nice compliment to nutr. protein and flavor in the aioli spread on the bread. Maybe this recipe is more of an onion salad sandwich, i.e., egg salad with more onion than egg this time, yum!

an onion sandwich is onion

an onion sandwich is onion and maybe some mayo or mustard but not pickles and egg. That's just wrong to cover up the flavor of a good onion with other stuff.

We just call this "Egg Salad

We just call this "Egg Salad Sandwich"

Egg salad sandwich? With one

Egg salad sandwich? With one large onion and only 3 eggs? Sounds like an onion sandwich to me. If I add any onions to my egg salad at all it would be about a tablespoon or two to three eggs.

I agree, that's EGG SALAD. Onion is onion.
How about Cheese & Onion, or, Orange & Onion
both come with bread and butter only, maybe
some pepper. Just call a sandwich what it is.
