Peach Cake

This recipe has been in our family since I can remember and has always been devoured by all who were served this tasty treat. I miss my Mother since her passing 10 years ago; but, I always remember her smile as she served up this dish.


1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 stick butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1-1/2 cups sour cream
1 large can peaches


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix cake with 2 eggs and softened butter then fold into 9x13” cake pan. Cook for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Mix cinnamon with sugar … set aside. Mix sour cream with 1 remaining egg … set aside. Remove cake from oven and sprinkle with part of the sugar mixture; place drained peaches on top, then sprinkle remaining sugar on top of peaches. Spread sour cream mixture on top of peaches and place in oven for another 15 minutes … wait until dessert sets before serving. Enjoy!
