My family and friends love this cake. It was handed down from my Aunt Marie.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together sugar, peanut butter, shortening, and eggs. Add milk and flour a little at a time. Pour into two round 8-inch cake pans. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
For frosting: Cream ingredients together until fluffy. Frost cake. You can add more peanut butter and milk if you like.
