Pepper Steak Oriental


1 lb round steak, sliced thin
3 Tbsp soy sauce
a1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
4 oz can mushrooms, drained, or 1 cup fresh mushrooms
1 onion, thinly sliced
a1/2 tsp crushed red pepper


Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Serve as steak sandwiches topped with provolone cheese, or over rice. Round steak is easier to slice into thin strips if it is partially frozen when cut.
