This is a light cake-like crisp and is equally good made with blueberries.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peal, core and slice the apples. Place in an 8x8- inch baking dish and toss with the cinnamon.
In a bowl mix the butter, sugar, flour and oats. Spread this mixture over the apples. Bake for 45 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream.
