2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter


Mix and sift the dry ingredients. Add the milk to the beaten egg yolks and add to the dry ingredients stirring until just mixed. Stir in the melted butter, then fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in a well greased 9-inch square pan in a moderate oven (350 degrees F) for about 30 minutes.
