SIMPLE PECAN SANDIES

Ingredients

1 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

Cream first four ingredients.

Stir in flour and pecans.

Form into balls and flatten them on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 about 20 minutes, they don’t brown much.

Yield: 

16 to 20 cookies
