Sour Cream Elderberry Pie
A recipe which has been handed down for several generations, this pie can be made with fresh or home canned berries for a summer picnic table or Thanksgiving feast.
Ingredients
1 cup elderberries
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
pastry for a two-crust pie
Instructions
Stir the filling together and bake in a two-crust pie.

Elderberry seeds
Our elderberries have seeds too coarse and gritty to be put into a pie.... I think. Do they soften up or something?
