There’s nothing better to fill the tummy than a bowl full of chili. Enjoy this hearty and healthy chili with ground turkey or ground chicken.

Ingredients
1-1/4 pounds lean ground turkey
1 onion, finely chopped
1 bell pepper, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes with basil
1 can (15 ounces) dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 heaping tablespoon chili powder, or more to taste
cheddar cheese, for topping
Instructions

In a large saucepan, cook the turkey, onions, peppers, and garlic until the meat is no longer pink and the onions are tender. Drain and add to slow cooker. Add crushed tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, and chili powder and stir. Cook on low heat for 8 hours.
