Weather comment

I'd like to know where all these comments come from, saying it's hot! Not! I am in the "high desert" of SoCal, and right now it is 50 degrees on 3-15. We had at least 7 inches of Snow on Thanksgiving! First time! And the day after Christmas was additional snow. I am a native of Pennsylvania and I do not like snow! Not after all the snow I shoveled most of my life in PA. It's 1:42 PM here and my heater just came on. I want some heat! Bring it. Very tired of cold here. And with "CoronaVirus Panic", nothing seems right anymore, hardly. Another comment about clouds in the 1980's, who can remember that? They look the same to me. As far as the Almanac getting the weather forecast right, they do it better than any other source I know! Keep it up guys!

Warm weather

Although I am a native southern Californian, I am no fan of warm weather. That said, it is not something new & has nothing to do with jets’ vapor trails. We always have a heat spell in mid to late February. My husband & I always look for it somewhere around Washington’s Birthday (Feb. 22) because when we were dating in the early ‘80s we went to the park on said birthday/holiday in shorts & I wore a sleeveless top. I think weather memory must be much like color memory in that it seems to be fairly inaccurate in many.

Farmers almanac ain’t what it used to be

Farmers almanac ain’t what it used to be. You’re right Andy it’s those white lines in the sky they are spraying chemicals... it absorbs the moisture in the air, causes a high pressure system, and the aluminum lands on the ground making fires spark more easily. It’s called “Geoengineering”.
There are side effects to this… It causes other parts of the country to have severe opposite weather, like flooding etc.
humans are controlling the weather now, and have been for about 40 years.
Have you noticed the clouds in the sky do not look the same as they did when we were kids in the 1960s

We Need The Rain!!!!

I’m tired of this heat in February, this is ridiculous. We need weeks of rain and thunderstorms. I always wonder what those tiny jets in the sky are doing spewing out that smoke up high in the sky, putting all kinds of chemicals up there possibly changing the climate and weather patterns. That’s why everyone wants to move here to California because it’s always sunny, no rain, no thunderstorms, no tornadoes, no hurricanes, no snow storms. California beaches suck, it’s always hazy, mountains are always bone dry, wildfires, and earthquakes. On the other hand for the East and Midwest at least you know those storms are coming and your prepared but not with earthquakes or wildfires.

Pretty good

The rain is on point but the temp is way off

Thanks for taking the time to write and for having the faith to hope it might be. We aim for 80 percent accuracy, then Mother Nature does something different.

This sucks!!

This long-range forecast is consistently wrong every year. I don't think I've ever experienced a February this hot, and yes I say HOT...ever. Forget mild. Forget warm. It's freaking HOT!! We're having weather we shouldn't even see before May or June at the earliest. Not a drop of rain since way back in December. We had a couple weeks in Jan that felt sort of seasonal and that literally ended overnight. We just came out of Indian summer right before Thanksgiving and now we're experiencing temperatures so far above average it's nearly a crime. Parts of Antarctica hit a high of 65 degrees just back on 2/13, the hottest temperature ever recorded on the continent. If I could strangle that jet stream, I would. I am getting so tired of reading articles about how the east is FINALLY getting cold and about to experience a dip in the jet stream, while this lousy side of the country is already BAKING, so guess what, we get to bake even more, no thanks to that horrible UGLY, H H H H H H High pressure system that literally sits over the west coast like a weather version of amoebic dysentery week after week after week spinning in an endless groundhog day of hell never to loosen its grip.

Ok, my apologies for the rant. I would just like to experience more than a week of 52-degree highs and less than 8-9 solid months of humid sky vomit and increasingly oppressive heat that used to be real tule fog. I'm sorry but it should NOT be 74 degrees in San Francisco around Valentines Day. I know that in previous years it wasn't unusual to have a few warm days in February, but I agree with Ronald that this is beyond ridiculous. The entire month has been over 65 I think.

Oh and I'm almost certain that prediction for a "cooler than average" summer actually means (in reality speak) that we'll probably see temps in the 100s again this year. I swear...this plus the thought of another 4 years of this bogus administration under an orange retarded primate is enough to make me want to move to Canada.
