Western colorado

Hard to dins weather predictions for Western Slope CO, especially interested in snow predictions for ski season beginning mid-Dec, 2018. Guests who come bi-annually arrive after Christmas - snow for skiing 2016-17 was pitiful.

I would like to know what the prediction is as well for the 2nd week in October here in Northern Colorado. It seems that the temperature has dropped rather rapidly here lately. What are we to expect. I feel like we are going to have an early fall.

Pikes Peak the last week of June

So we would like to hike Pikes Peak the last week of June. Any pros or cons weather wise? Looks like precipitation should be ok - how about temperatures and snow in the mountain?

Weather on Pikes Peak

Start your hike early try to make it to the summit no later than mid afternoon. If you're coming from lower altitude it will be a tough hike. It can take up to 6 - 8 hours. Getting caught in a thunderstorm is a possibility as the afternoon goes on. Parking is at a premium at the base of the incline.
