FINALLY! SNOW!!!!

Woke up on this beautiful February day (my son's birthday!) to see our little homestead in the Estancia Valley covered in white loveliness. Maybe NM will finally get the moisture we need!

Warmer than normal

Warmest Jan and Feb that I have exp'd in Southern Nevada. We are in the 3rd week of upper 70s, almost 80 the other day.

Warmest winter months...

The Pacific Ocean and other influences may not be in line with our predictions… We can’t fool Mother Nature—but we hope you get the weather you want!

Projected summer temps

Projected temperatures in the Desert Southwest between June and Sept 86 degrees? i wish.Page 233 of the Almanac is where i am looking. Am i reading something wrong here? That can not be right

June to Sept temps

The Editors's picture

The 86 degree average that you see applies to the entire region, and it is the average; not the spot-on exact temp for every square inch of the region. Thanks for asking!

desert southwest temperature forecasts

i think you might want to differentiate between to igh, middle & lower desert in your future almanacs.

No Rain or Snow in AZ

Worst Winter for precip I have seen in years in AZ, complete opposite of last year .... Bummed....

baloney

farmers almanac does not account for CLIMATE CHANGE. we are seeing zero precipitation here in new mexico. we live on a warming planet where predicting the climate is very unpredictable.

Moisture

Your forecast says we get cold and moisture. We have gotten neither. Warmer then normal. In the 60s in the afternoons. Haven't had a drop of moisture since October. I do believe your predictions are a wee bit off.
