Will we have a white Christmas?

I was hoping we could get a white Christmas I never had a white Christmas. It always snowed New Years Eve,

Bing Crosby: a forecasting genius or merely a dreamer?

It would help to know where you're planning to be at Christmas if your hopes are for an accurate prediction. I've lived in northeastern Kansas since the 1980s and have only experienced a handful of white Christmases. Nothing is ever halfway here, if we get "it" regardless of what "it" is, we get record amounts of it from tornadoes to tulips and everything in between. Truth be told, with climate change insisting upon rearing it's ugly head, unless you live in northern Canada, Alaska or at one of the poles, chances are that the only snowflakes you'll see at the end of the year are those paper ones we were forced to cut up as kids.

White Christmas

The problem is that you are not 75 like me. I believe I have seen perhaps 4 or so white christmas'. What are the odds? -- just to pick a day out of all the possible days it could snow -- with the fact that the weather has been very unstable in the past few winters. I too would like to see it snow during that time of year; nevertheless, I know that I should buy a "LOTTO" if I wanted to wager on it.

White Christmas

I'm 13 now. I have only seen one "White Christmas." When I was 2, 3, 4, even 5, it snowed all the time. 12in. 22 in. 8in. 11in. etc. Due to climate change, the last time I have seen more than 3in. of snow on the ground was 2013. I was 7. I have missed only a few days of school to snow, but ice is another story.. even when I did get alot of snow, the only White Christmas I ever had was 2015 and it snowed 1in. If I were gonna predict it would be a white christmas where I live, (Mid-Missouri), I think i'd have a better chance in arizona.

Bday Party Outdoors November near Macon, MO

Hi, My daughter wants a bouncy house for her bday. So, I was curious as to what dates in November would be dry and warm enough (jacket weather perhaps-not raining, and too windy and yucky out) that we could possibly have a bouncy house? I am in northeast Missouri. Is there any average range of temps that you can please provide for dates in November? Thank you!

Dry Day

I also live in Missouri, It is currently the 12th and we already have had 5in of snow. That's more than our winter average. According to the forecast, the warmest day with no snow is November 16, 2018. It will be 50 as a high and 30 as a low. It will be partly cloudy. I will say I am not certain on this as forecasts can be wrong, but this is my guess.

Temperature Averages

November 11-17: Average High: 39'F , Average Low: 23'F , Mainly Sunny
November 18-24: Average High: 46'F , Average Low: 34'F , Mainly Snowy/Rainy
November 25-30: Average High: 44'F , Average Low: 27'F , Mainly Icy/Rainy

Missouri Snow

I am also in Missouri, i enjoyed the 5 inches we received in November but zsadly i thimk thats all we are going to have thats more than a flurry.

Spring evening wedding 2019

I'm trying to pick a date for a late spring evening wedding. It will be outside. So, it need to be fairly nice.

Topeka Ks 10/14/2018

Just thought I would share that Topeka Kansas is currently under a freeze warning and also winter weather advisory. Its 11:05pm and its been snowing for over an hour, with the weather channel saying we should expect up to 2” by tomorrow. Hopefully the rest of the week becomes Sunny & Warm like predicted here by the Old Farmers Almanac!
