Long range weather

Well, I looked up the weather for the end of June. Planned a Surprise Birthday BBQ for my mom. 20 people coming over. Long range forecast said “sunny”. Hmmmmm?! Nope, cloudy and thunderstorms. So, I guess I will go on what my grandfather used to say, “ when I get up and look out the window, it is what it is.” I love Farmers Almanac, but long range weather predictions, not working for me.

October

Any idea what we can expect for October temps this year? 2018 was cold cold cold. 2017 was beautiful. This summer has been so cold I am worried it could mean a cold fall.

Should have planted in feb/march

The signs were all there in February and March I told everyone to plant. Everyone thought i was crazy. Now everyone is coming to me as Im harvesting daily and my corn is well above stomach height!

Watch the weather outside and stop going by online charts.

Im also going to say this now. We will have more rain but then we will have DROUGHTS this summer. Fill those rain barrells NOW!

UGH

ANOTHER crappy Illinois summer is here. Last summer was wet, but at least it wasn't COLD. This summer has been like perpetual March. It starts raining here in March and doesn't stop now until the 4th of July. July is **usually** OK (except 4" of rain right after last 4th of July) and by August, it's cool again. Chicago now has weather like Canada - 11 months of cool to frigid, and 1 month of OK. I am making early retirement plans out west where it's HOT and DRY. The incessant rain has sunk everyone I know into deep depression.

Who'll Stop The (dam) Rain?

My car is leaking around the sun roof and I can't find anyone to fix it yet, Ss the carpet gets wet and I try to dry it out during the sunny times, What Sun?

In NW Ohio there hasn't been much, Migraines and sinuses are bad this year, Kicks up vertigo too, I'm on very limited driving days as it is due to medical, Making everyone feel edgy and sick.

Summer NE Ohio

The government needs to work their weather-controlling skills around NE Ohio. Nothing but rain and cool temps. This is no kind of summer. Those of us who depend on our gardens for food year round are going to starve!!

Leak

My friend tried this and it worked. He had a sliding sun roof. He bought a spray can of liquid silicone spray, not the white grease kind. He sprayed the track, the rubber and seals all the way around with the spray and did it several more times, working the glass back and forth each time. After a few applications. No more leaks. He's going to do this every spring and fall to maintain it. Hope it helps. Good luck. Jpol He said it should work on the doors and windows seals also, that is if it's not torn.

Wet and cold!!

Could be more sunshine and warmer temperatures. It has been along time since we had a cooler summer. In all things I have learned to give thanks. Even surprisingly the weather.

SICK OF THIS

Here in NE Ohio, we have lousy winters and if you are unfortunate enough to live just south of the lake shore, you know what lake effect snow is. It drags on for months and months. But this rain and lousy temperatures will make the nicest person angry. Father's Day weekend is upon us and it's usually time for cookouts and outdoor activities. 'Tis the season, right? Nooooo. Not this year, I just saw the extended forecast and here we go again - more rain and cool temperatures. We're into mid-June and summer still is AWOL. What on earth is going on with weather?? Someone please turn this off already.

Summer?

No offense to anyone who likes cooler weather but after the long dreary winter we deal with every year it would be nice to enjoy a full day of 'sun' and warm weather where you can you know, actually enjoy a whole day at the pool again or a nice picnic outside without requiring a hoodie, boots or rain jacket. So fed up with the weather here at this point so it's time to move on to better places.....
