When will we need to turn on the heat in our home?

Hi there - Hoping you can help us. We are saving up to buy a boiler ($$) and would like as much time as possible before we NEED to purchase one. When is it going to be cold enough that you need to turn on your home's heat? We live in Gladstone, MO and like the house temperature to be around 75 degrees. Thanks so much!
