People who can't take the hot weather.

You all who do not like the southern heat, may want to move. Because Texas is always hot. We see very little cold weather, but I love it. I love to visit the northern states in the summer. That is very nice!

AGREE ON TEXAS HEAT

Your right on with that comment. I think we really have about 6 months of summer and 6 months of fall like weather if we're lucky. I have lived in Louisiana and Texas all my life. We get use to the extreme weather changes and events. We just roll with it. I to have been up north and enjoyed the time I spent there, but the south is my home and I would rather take the heat in winter than all that snow and ice up north. I guess it comes down to what your use to.

TOO HOT TO HANDLE...

I hear you! I have the A/C going and don't even have covers on me - wake up with soaking, wet hair, and body. Just walking to the cafeteria for lunch I come back feeling like I'm about to have a heat stroke! I'm getting older but this heat is the pits - where is FALL? Feel like temps in Austin - 101!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heat

Isn't there a saying, "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the state?"

owie! (dats me being burned by the sun)

i wish it were colder :( im a baked potato out here y'all

HOT, HOT, HOT

August in Oklahoma was hot and NASTY and September has not been the cool that you predicted, but 10-15 degrees above average (95-100!) and VERY humid. We really need it to cool off, but the 10 day forecast is more of the same. You guys missed the mark on this one. We hope October cools down!

Hot

It hot, but worse of all no rain.

Here ya go!

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh..... Cool enough now?

Hot as Hell

It's now the middle of September and we're still reaching days over 100 degrees here in central Texas.. I realize spring came in a little late as did maybe summer but my goodness. Bring on the cool weather.

Cool when?

So far it's been hotter than anyone can remember in Central Texas. 2nd hottest Summer in history of Austin. 3rd hottest Summer in history of San Antonio. Austin had 43 days over 100 for a new record. August hit 100 or more 28 out of 31 days. I laughed when I read cool. Texas is the hottest state in the country and now the official data is in San Antonio, Houston and Corpus are all hotter than the Mojave desert! If you see the word cool in any weather predictions between The end of May and the beginning of October for Central Texas, you can be sure someone has lost their mind.
