Better than meteorologist forecast

Even when Farmers Almanac forecast isn’t correct, which isn’t often, it’s correct more than TWC or any other weather affiliation.

Harvey

The one year anniversary for Harvey is quickly approaching. We still have many MANY people living in FEMA trailers.

Dry and Dusty !

This has been one of the hottest summers i can remember. seeing temps reach 114 in north Texas, the rainfall at a pitiful level. the lakes are getting low most of the ranchers stock tanks are either dry or so low the fish are dying in them. Cattle prices are dropping like like Bitcoin prices. Bring on the rain!

El Niño

Theres a 70% chance of an El Niño happening for winter... doesn't it usually mean colder and wetter weather for us in the Oklahoma/Texas region?? Why the forecast of a mild and dry winter?

El Nino

Yes, that is my understanding too. An El Niño should mean a cooler, wetter winter in the TX region and a warmer winter up north.

El Niño

Deborah, it looks like they don't take it into consideration? Unless they know something we don't lol! By fall, it should be a 60% chance for El Niño...70% by winter. I'll trust NOAA's forecast on this...the waters have all the makings for El Niño.

Hotest????

People let this climate change garbage get in their heads . Maybe you haven't been around that long or you're not from here. Weather charts will show that there have been temps well into the 100s in the 60s ,70s 80s ,90s and even before that. The statement of "highest temp on record" is a chosen term to scare people . Records have only been kept officially since 1914. Ice cores show C02 levels much higher than present have existed for thousands of years. Co2, you know the gas they claim is causing temperature rise.

climate change science vs. garbage

We have the actual air from many thousands of years ago (up to 800,000) that show what gasses are present. When CO2 was higher than now, there were no humans. And yes, we are experiencing the hottest temperatures on record, and by a huge margin. Science is not garbage, lazy thinking is. There are people who refuse to believe facts, but that does not make the facts untrue, or garbage. The difference between opinion and fact: one is true, the other may be garbage.

2018 July/August forecast

Too vague to be considered reliable.
