Wrong so far

For the Mid-Atlantic region the Almanac has been waaay off. Warmer April and May with normal precipitation? Umm it was the second rainiest April in history and one of the coldest. May is following suit thus far as one of the coldest (expected to set record lows this weekend) and the rainiest. I know weather forecasting is a crapshoot at best, but the Almanac is usually the closest.
It's also predicting Summer will be hotter and wetter in the Mid-Atlantic...oh boy.

Richmond Virginia is in the Northeast.

I wanted to say that I really like that this almanac puts Richmond in the Northeast. Although Richmond is commonly considered southern culturally, Richmond's weather is consistently more similar to areas along the Atlantic Corridor than it is to most places south. My family lives in North Carolina and it is always 5-10 degrees warmer there than in Richmond. Richmond and DC have the exact same weather patterns.

Correction

My last comment should have Stated Atlantic Corridor.. The areas In New Jersey are in The Atlantic Corridor. Sorry for the mistake!

Weather

You include north Jersey cities in your northeast corridor but, no mention of any other southern town/city South of Middlesex County. How about Trenton, Toms River, Lakehurst, Cherry Hill, Atlantic City, Millville, Cape May????

Richmond VA should NOT be considered Northeast

Richmond, VA is continuously similar in weather to the Carolinas, NOT anywhere north! We are usually under the Jetstream. You need to change where Richmond is in the Almanac because our weather is nothing at all like the weather in the Northeast!!

Weather comment

I used to live in Levittown, PA. Did for 18 years. I now live in southern California. All the years in Levittown, I was working. I shoved Tons of snow. You know, the older you get, the less you like snow! At least in my case. And the snow plows right after you shovel your property and driveway! Maddening! Now I live in southern California. Very happy. Pennsylvania is now a distant memory, from 2012. Levittown is now in the rear view mirror and almost gone. Southern California forever!
