weather nowadays
When is everyone going to realize and act on mitigating global warming -- the reason for this major change in weather, no matter where you live!
Winter
I agree. Where is winter in Michigan? We are missing the colder temperatures and are starved for lots and lots of snow.
Farmers Almanac - we love and enjoy the wit and humor and we can't forget the educational aspect. I give the Almanac to many friends every year, it makes a great gift. Thank you!!
winter weather forecast
Many thanks for your kind words, Scott. In terms of long-range weather predictions, we predict winter temperatures will be much above normal, on average. This means warmer. However, we do expect snowy period in mid- to late February. Stay tuned!
Weather
Omg! I've been looking for a snow storm blizzard anything with some measurable snow in Indianapolis. Everyone else saying they can do with out well I'm tired of doing without
desperate for snow
i am DESPERATE for a snowstorm, maybe even a blizzard? i miss snow so much
Winters are no longer winters
Winters are no longer winters like they were when I grew up in NW Ohio in the 60s to early 80s. We’ve only had one brutal snowy winter in the last 20 years. I never even use my snowblower last year. These are not normal winter temperature fluctuations. The Great Lakes snow machine is primed for disastrous lake effect snowfall yet we’re still waiting to be buried in snow.

Climate Change
On the list of events that affect the earth and should be worried about, climate change is down pretty far in my estimation. Sun sending a big flare our way, asteroid hit, large volcanic eruption, nearby supervova, poisoning of the ocean, overfishing. The climate has always changed. Look up the Maunder solar minimum and volcanic winter to get a real scare. Humans always suffer from recency bias.
