Too broad regions.

I live on Lake Ontario and I know for a fact that the weather in Sudbury an Thunder Bay is much much much colder than here but all of these areas Toronto Thunder Bay and Sudbury are the same categorie so finding the forecast is pointless because it’s -30 in Sudbury an +6 in Toronto so how on earth are they the same category make a region Toronto st Catherine’s Kingston and London and then make north bay Sudbury and Thunder Bay as one region and Timmins moosenee and all the other frozen he’ll holes in a catagory.

Just don’t have the regions soooooooooo big.

Hi, Andrew, You are not alone in expressing this frustration. While it is a bit too late to change the regional areas for the 2019 edition, we recently opened discussions about changing them for the 2020 edition—because people are making similar observations. Currently (and for years) the regions have been largely defined by the provincial borders; we would revise them based on climatology. Thank you for letting us know your feelings and experience with the Almanac.
