From Gulf to Valley

I felt the same way when I moved to Ohio Valley from the Gulf Coast (a block from hwy 90) I miss huge crab and crawfish boils like I miss the breezy beach nights. But they can keep the humidity. LoL. Bad news is the craving only gets worse. Plan a visit asap and indulge as much as you can hold, is the only recommendation I can give you. My family is my comfort here in the cold Ohio Valley, hope you have that comfort as well. Be blessed.

Miss snow

That's funny, I wonder how many of us true Southerners can say that? I'm from Niceville a stones throw from Ft Walton bch, Destin and Panama city... I miss the warm night breezes on the beach too but Ohio will get snow again soon.. do you remember what happens at or around 2pm each day in Florida???

Ohio Valley

I grew up in eastern kentucky a place called brushy creek. The mountains kept the wind off of you in the winter, and in the summer it was hot because of no wind. When i was 19 I moved to ohio for a job i gotten with the power company. My first winter here, I froze my butt off!!! Was not use to the cold winters here. Here i am about to turn 40 and still live in ohio. Here its like the forest gump movie "You never know what your going to get"

Miss Snow?

I agree 100%!!

snow

It Did Not Snow That Bad. People Wanna Make It Life Easier

There Wasn't Enough Snow In Western Pennsylvania For Today. Well I Think People Just Wanna Live It Like That Like In Florida. This Can't Be Life. We're Supposed To Get Bad Snowstorms Today On Saturday. I Didn't See That Much Snow. Because People Don't Like Snow Anymore. Because It Was Too Much. Some People Like Snow And Some People Don't. Some People Like It And Some Don't. Some People Like Mild Winters And Some People Like Bad Winters Everyone's Different. They Can't Do Nothing About It. They Always Wanna Live With It Every Year. We Did Not Get Alot Snow Days This Year Because People Like Easy Winters Just For A Couple More Years. Winter Is Just Too Easy This Year. Some People Like Easy Winters And Some People Like Hard Winters Everyone's Different.

Snow

I don't mind the snow,I just hate cold weather,I don't even want to go outside for nothing when it's cold, id love to live in fla again,I lived there a long time ago and I loved it

Snow

If This Keeps Up From Having These Mild Winters Over The Winter Years That Will Be Crazy. It Didn't Snow Too Well This Winter In Western Pennsylvania. They Want Till The End Of January This Winter Only For This Winter. Next Winter Will Be Bad Cause We Didn't Have Very Much White Snow This Year In Western Pennsylvania. I Miss The White Snowy Winter Ever In Western Pennsylvania. It Never Snowed This Year In Western Pennsylvania. I Want The White Snowy Winter Again. And I Really Miss It That Often.

Snow In Ohio Valley

People Can't Do Anything About Snow Till January Or February. They Like To Have A Little Break From It Some Day. Some Days It's Good Some Days It's Bad. Some People Like Mild Winters And Some People Like Bad Winters Everyone's Different

Green Wintertime vs. White Wintertime

Why is it green every winter instead of white? Does it have anything to do with the moss that's growing outside the house? I took a look at a patch of green moss. Is it the greenhouse effect that's keeping it from snowing?!?!?!
