No, you can't forecast tornadoes months/years in advance
To the person asking if you can forecast tornadoes when you forecast rain/thunderstorms: no. No, you can't. You can't even reliably know for sure whether a storm capable of producing a tornado will produce one WHILE IT'S HAPPENING, so how could anyone possibly tell you, MONTHS in advance, whether there's going to be a tornado in a specific place? If that were possible, tornadoes wouldn't even be dangerous. Modern tornado warnings give you far more time than ever before due to advances in radar technology; most tornado warnings are issued on a cautionary basis of a radar-indicated tornado and NOT because one was actually spotted (although that is sometimes the case, depending on whether the storm chasers are tracking that particular storm or not). If you apply your logic to other sorts of weather phenomena, then why do you suppose hurricanes are so devastating? Like, why can't we just use our magical powers to predict those months/years in advance, too? Look, this is all really basic info. I don't know if you were joking or what, but if you weren't, that was kind of a dumb question lol...

Texas Winter
Gosh, when are we going to get a really cold winter in South Texas, seems like it's been years since we've had a really good cold winter with at least one good freeze. Doesn't look like we will this year, feel sad.

I don't understand why central and south tx are roped into the same weather forecast with ok. Central tx and south tx have different weather severities than North tx. North tx should be included with ok, not all of texas. Also when mentioning rain/thunderstorms, you can't forecast tornadoes?
