Sor's right

Sor's right. This is not a White Christmas at all. This weather is just like November weather, and its already only a day from Christmas Eve!

Southern Ontario Weather Forecast

How on earth can this even be accurate. Timmins Sudbury Thunderbay lumped in with Southern Ontario? We have totally different climates. We have -20 happening today. Can someone clarify this for me or link me to something more Northern-based?

No cold winter please

I just found out that Environment Canada has predicted a milder than normal winter and I can't survive the cold winter anymore.

Cold Weather IN THE SUMERTIME?!!

On September 9, 2018, it was a high of 13 degrees in Etobicoke. It's still summer that day. I don't understand. I've been told that I couldn't wear just a T-shirt in February because it's not summer. But it currently IS summer and people are still telling me to wear jackets. That doesn't make any sense. Wearing a jacket should depend on what SEASON it is. I am sooo mad!

Explanation

Weather depends a lot on which direction the prevailing winds are coming from. When we get warm days in the winter, (like in February 2017), the winds are frequently coming from the south, bringing warm air from the Gulf of Mexico. When we get cold days, the wind is frequently coming from Hudson's Bay or the Northwest Territories. I hope that this provides some explanation.

Canada eh

Dress how you like everyone is different, pay no mind to peoples comments and go with the flow, after all we live in Canada and our weather is unpredictable, i love our country and the weather it throws at us

weather

I agree with everyone who comments how lucky we are to live in Canada and enjoy 4 distinct seasons. How boring and uncomfortable it would be to me to live some place where it is always warm or blistering hot and humid all year around.

Cold Weather in the Summertime

Perhaps a thermometer would help - I have coats for each temperature range as I walk my dog 4 times a day - ignore the seasons and watch the thermometer -

2019-23

I read an article last month about how 2019-23 is going to be the hottest years we’ve had in years. Then I read how it’s going to be cooler in 2019?lmao. You guys better start making sense. Because you even said that this summer was gonna be cooler than normal and here we are living in pure heat (which I enjoy). So if anyone has anything to add to this. Feel free.

I was just looking for

I was just looking for previous predictions about this past summer because it was one of the nicest in recent memory. I read that they were predicting a cool and wet summer for 2019 and got bummed out. But now I can see that it's potentially fake news.
