More Cold Snaps

So the middle to the end of January made up for the milder start. We got our cold snap ... and snow, freezing rain, and winds. And they say there's more to come. Great! Get this winter weather over with now so we don't have a freezing rain storm in April like we did in Southern Ontario last April. Ain't winter just so much fun? It's a matter whether you like winter or not. I don't like it.

Cold Enough?

You got your wish. We're all in a winter deep freeze. It's so cold out, we can't go outside. Hope you're happy!

Northern Ontario

I beg almanac for the sake of southern Ontario, that the north and south should be separate regions. For us in the north (400km from James Bay) almanac has been bang on. There is absolutely no comparison in the south. Never has been! Given their population density, I can understand how so many people down there gat annoyed with false predictions below the snow belt

Ontariio weather.

Have always felt that EC did a pretty good job of predicting the weather. So far,,, they're quite off the mark here in S. Ontario,,, and no snow to speak of, January 05 '19.

Winter weather

Can we have 8 more snowfalls in 2019 and each time can we get 11 inches of snow and can we start the first snowfall tonight and tomorrow

Missed the snow this Christmas.

I missed the snow this Christmas. I hope there is still some coming. Otherwise the El Nino is having a great effect on this warm temps. Do you take into account the El Nino or La Nina effects?

No snow at all, none looking forward.

Clearly, these predictions are not accurate. No snow of any sort in Peterborough area, and if so, it is melted the next day with above average temperatures. No snow of any significance in the next week before Christmas it seems. So far, these long-range forecasts have fallen very short of accurate, and that's just being nice about it. Doesn't look like they're going to come true at all.

heres the real weather: no snow, mild to warm temperatures

Oh, dear. Yes, conditions have not always gone according to plan. But hang on. Winter will arrive on December 21 and we hope more typical conditions will prevail. Thanks for letting us know.

Yeah, right!

It's DECEMBER 23RD already!!!

No signs of snow!!!
