Oregon Weather
There is a saying in Eastern Oregon " If you don't like the weather, wait 5 min. and it will change ". So true, especially in Spring. :)
Duh
Everyone says that about where they live. Too cliché.
Cliche
They don’t say that where I live. We get like 353 days of sun a year.
NE Oregon Weather forecasts
To carry on with that theme, my Grandma always said that people who try and predict the weather in The Grande Ronde Valley are either crazy or from out of town!
Question for Editors
Is it true that the PNW is one of the hardest places in the world to predict the weather?
Weather forecasting in PNW
Not really. If you can see Mt. Rainier, it's going to rain. If you can't see Mt. Rainier, it's already raining.
Shanda sometimes it is hard
Shanda sometimes it is hard to predict PNW weather. I say so myself.
Weather for first week in May
Well the Almanac says rainy periods and cool for May 1-11th, but the local weather is predicting we get to the high 80s by the 11th. It has been in the high 60's to mid 70's so far this month. I hope this doesn't mean we are in for a brutal summer again.
Brutal Summer
Well Lydia. Buckle up for half brutal summer, we are going to get some days into mid 100"s. Between 100 & 107. Hopefully less fire hazard.
Accuracies of the Almanac.
In Eugene almost 90 during that week. So if they got that backward, such as we are now getting the weather they predicted for the first 11 days of May, could it mean that the other weeks are also wrong and it’s a crap shoot as to what Mother Nature decides to have us endure?? Just sayin’!
