May wedding

I am getting married outdoors on may 18th in Arlington WA, what are the chances of showers that day? I'm a bit nervous

Garden Wedding

Hi. I'm having a garden wedding on June 3rd in Puyallup. I'm really hoping it does not rain. What is the likelihood that it will rain on my wedding day?

Temperatures, when to plant?

I am planning to give it another try at planting a veggie garden in containers this year. With the fluctuating temperatures and snow still falling here, when would be the best time to start? One week we have 45°-55° then snow and freezing temperatures the next, which seems to be a trend at the moment.

when to plant

Well, there is lots to say about when to start. First, you can get an estimate of your last frost date here: https://www.almanac.com/gardening/frostdates

Then, depending on what you plan to grow, you want to have warm soil; yes, even in containers. Here’s some more insight on warm soil: https://www.almanac.com/blog/gardening/garden-journal/warming-your-soil-...

If there is another frost, or something close, you want to protect your plants. Here’s some info https://www.almanac.com/content/protecting-your-garden-frost

Presumably (nothing in nature is certain, right?) there will be a spring, followed by a summer, so there wil be a planting and growing season. For specific advice on how to grow individual vegetables, we suggest that you use the search button near the top left of this page.

We hope this helps (and understand your plight).

Your forecast

Wrong. I'm a trucker. I've seen more unseasonable snow from Weed, California to Seattle, Washington that I've seen in the last 10 years in February alone and where's the end?

Hi. I'm visiting my mom in Eagle Point Oregon. And I was wondering if there would be any snow within an hour radius that we might be able to enjoy ourselves in? I'm also trying to prepare what I'm going to pack for this trip. I know the weather always changes but it's hurts like chance that I might see some snow on the ground?

end of winter

Well, it’s right around the corner, of course. We hope. It had better be.

Yes, while it is still officially winter, everyone is ready for spring. But think of this…if there comes a time when there is no winter, no snow, no cold… Well, let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

It won't end!

The Almanac seems to be completely wrong in their weather predictions for the 2017/2018 year. I don't think the sun is ever going to come out and it feels like winter in April! YUK!!!!!

Snow in February

We've got freezing temps and snow. Today is the 21st of February and it seems Oregon is being hit by a cold front this week and next. Hoping your March forecast is accurate.

More to Oregon than West portion

Ontario is on the Snake River ID/OR border as far E as you can go & still be Oregonians. We’re still considered NW. It would be good to have long range forecast even if just Boise ID about 50 milesE of us.
