early fall/winter
I was just commenting to my Husband tonight I think it will be an early winter. My cat is already blowing coat. Normally that doesn't happen until Late September Early October. I can usually tell what's in store by the animals coats. Call me crazy. I'm on the Oregon Coast.
I'm in the willamete valley
I'm in the willamete valley and my border collie is shedding like mad already as well.

Inaccurate June forecast???
June was reported to have been the hottest June in the 100+ years of recording. I'd say comments to the contrary may be a little off.
Inaccurate Summer Forcast
It may be the hottest summer elsewhere and I don't doubt it... but here in Seattle it has been cool. That's what I was asking about. It has been so unusual, everyone has noticed. I am just curious if the hotter weather elsewhere is affecting us here..
What happened?
So much for the hot brutal summer in Seattle.. it's been anything but. Even the most recent forecast for the three days we're on says hot.. it's no where near hot and won't be for the foreseeable future.. what happened? Is there a reason it's been so off this year?
June
Lol it says June hotter than normal yet it’s been chilly in the 60s and even mount hood got snow twice!!! It dumped snow twice in June!!
Yes it has
It has been freezing where I live, Portland hasent reached 63+ for a few days, with our lows at 44-52!
Summer Temps
I live in Josephine County, Southern Oregon.
We definitely did not have the "Hottest Summer" in record.
It seemed like summer had a hard time getting settled early on and then we only had a couple of days that peaked around 100 degrees.
Very mild for this area.
