SICK OF THIS

Here in NE Ohio, we have lousy winters and if you are unfortunate enough to live just south of the lake shore, you know what lake effect snow is. It drags on for months and months. But this rain and lousy temperatures will make the nicest person angry. Father's Day weekend is upon us and it's usually time for cookouts and outdoor activities. 'Tis the season, right? Nooooo. Not this year, I just saw the extended forecast and here we go again - more rain and cool temperatures. We're into mid-June and summer still is AWOL. What on earth is going on with weather?? Someone please turn this off already.

Summer?

No offense to anyone who likes cooler weather but after the long dreary winter we deal with every year it would be nice to enjoy a full day of 'sun' and warm weather where you can you know, actually enjoy a whole day at the pool again or a nice picnic outside without requiring a hoodie, boots or rain jacket. So fed up with the weather here at this point so it's time to move on to better places.....

Summer of Our Discontent

Stormgirl is absolutely right, and of course the predictions shown here are dreadfully wrong. "April and May will be slightly warmer than normal, with near-normal precipitation." That was about as wrong as it could be. Time for the folks who forecast weather to come clean and admit they really have no idea how to predict weather more than about 36 hours in advance. Their predictions correspond roughly with random chance.

Yes

Yes yes bring on the warmth and sun. I hate hate snow. I live in NY and winters r horrible. So yeah I agree. Bring on summer. When it rains or snows and is cooler it’s depressing.

how right you are

so true....they barely get 24 hour forecasts right. I am involved in healthcare....you simply cannot be wrong....

Its just awful

Is summer ever gonna come? usually there is little rain and mostly sun by now, we are getting ripped off and the only people who don't care are inactive people.

horrible June

agreed....im over this horrible dreary, wet, summer in northern illinois and yet it hasn't even started. i definitely am making some retirement plans far away from here.

Amen!!!!!

Amen!!!!!

Enjoying the Cool

I’m not a fan of summer, and am liking the cool weather. I know! Guess I’m weird. I just have no desire to sweat, and struggle to breathe. Give me partly cloudy and 70 at the most. Love it.

Completely agree!!!

I despise hot and humid weather! Loving the cooler, breezy days! Could do with a lot less rain, but yeah. No complaints on cooler temps!
