What is the expected weather for September 14, 2019??

March 15-22, 2019

Flying to NYC from Florida for the first time ever. Staying 3 nights in NYC then driving up to Panama, New York for the remainder of our stay to visit grandparents and then Niagra Falls on March 22. I wear flip flops year round in Florida. I have no idea what to pack for this trip. And my husband and I have never seen snow. Is there any snow predicted for my trip? And how many layers of clothes are we going to need?

As a New Yorker, March is notoriusly unpredictable. Leave the flip flops home, we don't break those out til late spring. I recommend boots, and layers...especially if your going to the falls, it is bound to be chilly, windy, and slippery with spray. NYC tends to be more mild that Niagara area, but again it is unpredictable, and mild to us is downright cold to you! Just plan to dress warm and in layers, especially if you'll be out walking and sight seeing.. enjoy your trip!

Thank you

We will be out sightseeing. Statue of Liberty, natural history museum and empire state building. Then headed to upstate new york. So I'm assuming I should just plan on lots of layers the entire trip ?!?! Hoping for snow. Even if it melts when it hits the ground. Never seen snow

Trip to NY

I went up to south jersey for Easter one year in April. Temps were in the 60s, and people were wearing tees and shorts. I was freezing. I had to wear a sweater and sweat pants and a jacket. I didn't warm up till I got back to Florida a week later! Be prepared for the worst. I'll bet you'll see some snow, especially in upper NY. Have a nice time.
