Fall leaves

Hello. We go almost every year in late September. In 2018, there had been very little color change as of the 24th; however, in 2017 there was some color change around the 15th, but all of this is found in the higher elevations. It can vary greatly from year to year. The town always starts changing much later than the mountains. You can do a search for "Fall Color Guy" and "Smoky Mountains" or find him on Facebook. He posts reports starting sometime in August usually and is usually right on point for his color forecasts. Even without a lot of color, we always enjoy our trips and I hope you enjoy yours as well!
