So disappointing that yet again no decent amount of snow in Central PA. We are well overdue. Miss the times when I was a kid in the 70's and 80's. When we got snow here we got snow and it stuck around. Now IF we get 2-6 inches, it's gone in a day or 2.

I PRAY this forecast is right! I'm ALWAYS praying for above average temperatures in the winter and No SNOW - the worst four letter word there is!!!!!

They tell us at the top that these predictions are not location-specific, but only show trends based on recorded cycles for the various regions. Don't expect them to tell you what the weather is for your private function on any given day. But must say, for my region, the trends for October this year so far are spot-on.

The Farmers Almanac Is Making That Mistake Right Now. But People Like To Have A Little Break From The Snow So They Can Do Things. We Are Not Ready For Snow Yet. It Says The snowiest periods will be In early and mid-December and early to mid-March. And coldest periods in early and mid-December, from late December into early January, and in late January.
