Last year predicted below normal snowfall in Ohio wrong! opposite happen. Ohio had above normal. November 4 degree above average wrong! It's going to be below normal. Maybe other parts of the nation the Almanac got right but not in Ohio.
Ohio is unpredictable
People never know what to pack for a week long visit in Ohio, I chat with a lot of travelers, we gave all witnessed temperatures go from 42 to 82 and back down to 35. People are often getting sick from rapid temperature changes...
That is what makes us "sinus valley".
Snow
Well looks like snow for Metropolis il. according to the persimmon seeds--when we gathered some from our farm we found all spoons.
SNOW
If the rain does not subside, you can almost bet on a lot of Snow/with wind. The WORLD's Climate right Now needs to Flip OR get out your snow shovels and MANY Lost hours at work..
Woolley Worms
The Wooley Worm Festival in NC was BLOWN away on Saturday Night and Cancelled Sunday's get together..The wind and Rain put it on HOLD....SO, WHO knows Glacial Activity?????

White willy worms. October 2018
Hello im from oxford ohio. I have been seeing white and yellow willy worms all over my yard. Normally i see all black or black and brown. Im just wondering does this mean bad winter? Blizzards maybe also?
Color of Willy worms related to weather
Don't know for sure, but have always heard the black or dark brown worms mean colder weather and lots of snow. I live in Nashville, Indiana, about 50 miles south of Indianapolis (Brown County). Here we are also seeing yellow willy worms. I am guessing this means mild winter and have my fingers crossed that this is true!
Plus if squirrels nests are low to the ground, the weather is supposed to be warmer than normal.
Good luck!
Woolyvworm meaning
Last year (2017-2018) we had white wooly worms, if that helps. I was told by some country folk white meant lots of snow. I always heard black meant cold or severe and brown mild. For example black in middle brown ends mean winter starts & ends mildly with watmer temps, while mid winter would be harsher. White is just snow all winter.
